Tchavdar "Charlie" Alexiev

Charlie Alexiev is a paralegal with the strongest of medical backgrounds. An émigré from Bulgaria in 1994, Dr. Alexiev graduated with a Golden Hippocratic Medal from the Medical Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1985. He became an Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology in 1988 and an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and Director of the Computer Center of the Institute of Internal Medicine of the Medical Academy in 1993.

Dr. Alexiev provides invaluable support to the lawyers at Baker & Associates by assisting them to interpret, understand and evaluate the medical conditions of plaintiffs or potential claimants in personal injury claims. Among other important aspects of his job are summarizing medical reports, subpoenaing medical documents and coordinating discovery. His input substantially reduces the need for costly outside medical experts, streamlines cases and expedites an ultimate resolution.

Dr. Alexiev also applies his expertise in computer technology as the head of the Firm's in-house MIS department, a state-of-the-art model that many other law firms are seeking to replicate in order to be as efficient as possible.
